Annual Events
Taste of Georgetown
Manned by over 70 volunteers, the Taste of Georgetown is a great event that brings together the community and offers local restaurants and musicians a chance to show off their talent. It’s a day of fun and food, all in support of GMC’s work to help the homeless in Georgetown.

Spirit of Georgetown
Last year’s benefit raised over $50,000 in funds that will go directly toward GMC’s work to end homelessness. We are grateful for our supportive community and the many wonderful people who gave generously through this event.
Help the Homeless Walk-a-thon
We walk for the nearly 12,000 people in the Washington, DC area who are homeless—40% of which are families and one in four is a child. Since 1988, The Help the Homeless Program has raised $85 million for homeless service providers working hard to prevent and end homelessness in our community.
Starting this year, there will no longer be a big walk on the National Mall. Instead, GMC will be having a series of mini Help the Homeless events throughout the summer and fall. Please stay tuned for more information!
