You can help us by donating any of the following items between 8am and 4pm any day of the week. If possible, please call ahead (202-338-8301) to let us know you are coming.

We are located at 1041 Wisconsin Avenue in the alley next to Grace Church. Due to construction at one end of the alley, all access to our center is via the alley entrance on 31st Street next to the Capella Hotel. Here is a map for reference. If you would like help bringing your donations from the end of the alley to our center, you may call the front desk (202-338-3801) for assistance.

We also have a wish list on Amazon.com. Make your in kind donation do double duty by buying it through Amazon Smile — we’ll get whatever your purchased for us from our wish list AND Amazon’s donation!

  • socks (athletic socks preferred, men’s and women’s)
  • underwear (new; men’s and women’s, larger sizes preferred)

We’re Stocked Up

Thanks to your generosity, our shelves are overflowing with the following items! If you wish to donate any of these items, please visit our website again in the spring – we’ll have an updated list of everything we need. Thank you!

At this time, we do not need:

  • travel sized soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and hand sanitizer
  • deodorant
  • toothbrushes & toothpaste
  • shaving cream
  • tissues
  • combs
  • feminine hygiene products (tampons and pads)

Other

  • yarn (preferably several skeins in the same color or color family) for our knitting group
  • backpacks and messenger bags
