Choose GMC in your United Way Campaign (#9635), Combined Federal Campaign (#31661), or other workplace giving campaign. GMC is also a part of the World Bank’s Community Connections Campaign and the IMF Helping Hands Campaign. Please contact your HR office with questions about workplace giving.
With a small staff, Georgetown Ministry Center relies on the support of volunteers to keep our center operating at its highest potential. We are always looking for volunteers to support staff in the center, lead programming, manage our clothes closet, or help staff with administrative work. Learn more.
Day Center: Though we are not a meal program, we accept sandwiches and other prepared food (note: we are limited by space constraints and do not have a stove or oven). To add your name to our meal calendar, please contact Ashley Lane, GMC Program Coordinator, at Ashley@gmcgt.org or 202-338- 8301 x 22.
Winter Shelter: Dinner is gratefully accepted November through March in our Winter Shelter. You can organize a group of 6-8 people to prepare and serve a meal for 20 people. We request that meals include a main course, two vegetable dishes, beverages and a dessert. Please call 202-338- 8301 or email email@example.com to set up a date to volunteer.
