What are your plans this weekend? Come listen to the harmonious sounds of the Inscape Chamber Orchestra in Concert at Christ Church Georgetown this Saturday, April 14, 2018, at 4:00 p.m., benefiting Georgetown Ministry Center!
Inscape’s second Georgetown appearance of the 2017-2018 season will feature Johannes Brahms’ Serenade No. 1, Op. 11, Benjamin Britten’s Sinfonietta, Op. 1, and Carl Nielsen’s Serenata in vano, as well as the premiere of a work by Washington-based composer Nathan Lincoln-DeCusatis. A festive reception will follow.
All proceeds from the free-will offering will benefit Georgetown Ministry Center (GMC), a longtime mission partner of Christ Church.
Founded in 2004 by artistic director Richard Scerbo, the Inscape Chamber Orchestra seeks to redefine the boundaries of classical music through riveting performances that reach across genres and generations, and transcend the confines of the traditional concert experience.
