The Washingtonian, TASTE OF GEORGETOWN, presented by INFINITI will be held this Sunday, September 22 from 11am-4pm!
The event will feature creative tastes from more than 30 of the neighborhood's best restaurants along with beer and wine. The festival benefits Georgetown Ministry Center's mission to support the homeless. The event began over 20 years ago by Grace Episcopal Church in Georgetown and its former rector David Bird and member Robert Egger, who went on to found DC Central Kitchen.
Location: K Street NW between Wisconsin Avenue and Thomas Jefferson Street.

Grace Street Coffee Official Logo
Barista serving and chatting with a customer at Grace Street Coffee!
We are now receiving donations from our partners at Grace Street Coffee! This independent coffee shop is located at 3210 Grace Street NW. They offer a variety of responsibly sourced single-origin coffees from around the world, roasted in small batches on-site. Corey Geier, roaster at Grace Street Coffee since 2016, says that his enthusiasm for drinking and sharing coffee led him here. This enthusiasm now extends to GMC. The team at Grace Street was looking to donate excess beans that are roasted but not sold, and found GMC through an investor at their shop who also donates to the ministry center. We calculated the amount of coffee our guests drink in a week, and Grace Street was glad to donate the beans. We can now offer better coffee that is more sustainably sourced, and we can be more environmentally responsible by using coffee that might have gone to waste otherwise. Corey’s motivation to donate is simple: he says, “we’re here because we love the neighborhood, and we want to make it as good as possible.”
