We finally finished with our beautiful renovation.  Below are some images of what you can expect from our new facility.  🙂

After more than a month Georgetown Ministry Center will be reopening. Please come by and see the newly renovated center and hear about our application of the “Club House Model”. This Thursday, July 14th between 4 and 6pm. Meet the staff and board members and see the wonderful transformation.

It appears that the construction is going the full 8 weeks. We will, I am assured, be reopened on July 8. Maybe sooner. For those of you who do not know we are fully committed to a clubhouse style program in which the people choosing to use our center will be thought of as members with a great deal of input into our programing. We hope to have meaningful activities throughout the day. We intend to make technology an important center piece. Gmail and google voice will ensure a virtual home to those who have no other home. Of course we will work diligently to connect people to programs that will lead to house. Stay tuned!
